Metal Prints

Capital Copy is now beta testing Metal Prints using Chromaluxe dye sublimation aluminum. The metal print faces are archival, waterpoof, and much more scratch resistant than paper or canvas. The color is absolutely brilliant. We print with a 4 color process with a decent gamut, but some colors may shift a little bit. Metal prints are tuned for color vibrancy and not lab grade accuracy.

File prep:

Setup size your image to 200 or 300 DPI at your desired print size with a .2 inch bleed for over print. Jpg, Tif, or flattened .psd files are desired file formats. We can do the file sizing and format conversion for you at the shop hourly rate.

Uploading many images

Name each file with the size and quantity followed by your file name. Put the files in in a folder and right click > "add to archive" on a Mac or "send to compressed folder" on Windows. Upload the compressed file via the "Send Files" link at the top of this website. We will send you an e-invoice after we tally up the order manually.
